As the only higher education institution specialized in training maritime law enforcement personnel in China,China Maritime Police Academy is located at the Yongjiang River bank, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province and directly subordinate to the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. It owns a beautiful campus environment and covers an area of 500 acres. The origin of the Academy was established in September, 1983. Its major setting has already covered 9 fields. Every year, there are more than 20 training courses for the domestic and international maritime law enforcement departments in China Maritime Police Academy.
