Executive Vice Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong meets with Japanese Ambassador to China Yutaka Yokoi on November 11.

On November 11, Executive Vice Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with Japanese Ambassador Yutaka Yokoi in Beijing.

Wang expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Yutaka Yokoi for his positive contributions to promoting the law enforcement cooperation between China and Japan. He said that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee not only has drawn a grand blueprint for China’s future development, but also will provide more opportunities for world peace and development. He hoped that the law enforcement departments of the two countries may maintain high-level exchanges and strengthen pragmatic cooperation in law enforcement and security fields such as combating transnational crimes and security of Olympic Games, so as to make positive contributions to the construction of Sino-Japanese relations that meet the requirements of the new era.

Yutaka Yokoi hoped that the law enforcement departments of the two countries may further strengthen cooperation and promote the continuous development of bilateral relations.
